Using social media in our practice

Policy

‘Social media’ is defined as online social networks used to disseminate information through online interaction. Our practice does not have any social media presence. Our practice has a total social media ban. Staff for our practice are advised that posting on their personal social media anything connecting to this practice, including about patients, staff, facilities, any staff connected with facilities, any documentation and or uniforms identifying the practice will be considered a breach of employment and the staff member will be terminated from employment/ contracts immediately.
